It all started in 2005 when Ulrich and Tord met for the first time. On two days, without any preparation, they recorded the music for the album “Humans & Places” in a studio in Vienna, and in the evening they played in a jazz club.

What followed was a whole series of wonderful concerts together. First in a quartet, then in a trio and finally in an intimate duo. This recording was made in Vienna in 2011 and represents perhaps one of the best performances of the duo. Ulrich on bass clarinet and basset horn, Tord on the piano. Almost two hours of an intense, emotional musical conversation. Enjoy
